How do I install numbers on brick, stone or concrete?

Masonry surfaces are one of the most popular places to mount house numbers - they just need the right drill and bit:

1. Use a drill with a hammer setting, fitted with a 4mm masonry drill bit.

2. Tape your installation template in position [spirit level, or follow a brick line] and drill the marked holes. On brittle bricks, drilling through a strip of masking tape helps prevent chipping around the hole.

3. Screw the threaded rods into the back of your numbers, add the spacers if you'd like a floating mount, then apply a small amount of outdoor rated epoxy [we recommend Loctite 5 Minute Epoxy] into the holes and push the numbers into place.
